Fibromyalgia Report

It's getting late, and my mind is moving into that space between work and sleep, so this will be relatively short. Today was much better as far as feeling tired was concerned. As with yesterday, I drank 2 cups of detox tea, took my vitamins including alfalfa and drank 2 quarts of water. Ate healthy all day and ended the day with flounder, baked with a mixture of ground pecans, salad dressing and milk on top, and peas for my vegetable. MMM! I know sleep tonight will be even deeper than last night which was better than the night before. Looking for even more energy tomorrow than today. Oh yes, took my dog for a walk in the frozen tundra we have here in the Midwest. Quite refreshing! Until tomorrow....

Fibromyalgia Report

Hello again,
Well, it's time to get back into the health kick. I do this every year, as most other do, after Christmas. Actually, both of my kids have January birthdays, so I start revving the engine this week after my son's birthday, and really get into action next week. Have had a mild sinus problem the past week, so purchased some Olive Leaf capsule and Goldenseal from the health food store tonite. Also got some natural sinus decongestant. My diet has had an abundance of breads and sugars for the past 6 weeks, so I've begun getting those out of my life also. I find drinking apple juice helps stabilize the blood sugar as my body becomes accustomed to less sugars and white flours. It was so fun eating them, but I definately don't sleep as well as when I'm eating healthier...so tonight....asparagus soup. Ate a few nuts today but mostly drank apple juice and water to give my body a break. I actually did pretty well last week, didn't eat sweets and very little bread through out the week. Saturday and Sunday were the weekend culprits for eating poorly. Anyway, I know within a week or two of eating healthily, I'll need less sleep and have lots more energy. Better get back to my making my soup, looks like the asparagus is about cooked. Oh yes, for you asparagus lovers, I used water, chicken boullion, asparagus, a little taragon, pepper, a little corn starch and milk to thicken. Can't leave out some cream cheese. MMMMM good. Talk to you tomorrow.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog. I realize nobody is probably even reading this, and if that is the case, I'll be writing it for myself. It is all good as this is the first time I've blogged, so this is entirely new to me. I don't profess to be a wonderful writer, but what I will do is write from the heart. This blog is intended for those fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue sufferers who are really interested in taking steps, as I did 18 years ago, to recover. My daughter, who was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, has agreed to help me with this blog. She also sufferers from ADHD, and since she is in her final semester at college, decided it is now a good time for her to begin her journey to feeling better. On January 19, (her birthday), I will begin blogging about her journey to recovery. Since it has been so many years since I made that journey, working through her will allow me to remember those supportive comments that were helpful to me, so may be helpful to you during your journey. Until the 19th, my daily blogs will be written to give you a chance to settle in and can get to know me better. Let me preface these blogs by saying my writing skills leave a little (at times a lot) to be desired, so if you are looking for a blog that uses large words, pretty metophorical pictures or correct placement of every word, forget it, that won't be my style. Well, that's all for today. Oh, almost forgot to tell you, I don't blog on Sundays, so that will be the only day I won't be on here. Hope someone sees this. If not, I've had a good time! Have a great Sunday. Mary Moeller
